Visa Extension
This is the procedure that allows foreigners to temporarily stay in Vietnam without having to leave the country. According to regulations, when your Vietnam visa is about to expire, if you wish to continue staying in Vietnam, you must apply for a visa extension before the visa expires.

In cases where a foreigner overstays their visa, they will be subject to fines and, in some cases, may be required to leave Vietnam and banned from re-entering for a certain period.

If your visa has expired and you need to extend your stay in Vietnam, you are required to prepare and submit the necessary documents for a visa extension as regulated.
